My two week old Touring is in the shop since wed. They still can’t find the problem with the idle stop fault. They’ve been working with factory engineers. They gave me a rental car. I’ll know more on Monday .

Did they give you a passport?

I would be so happy if my Idle Stop just stopped. Cannot stand that feature...

That’s stinks but yeah, glad they found it. Can almost guarantee a Fiat brand car they would not have tried more than the 32.3 minutes the book allows them to.
I made up the minutes but they are limited to book time or they don’t get paid

I’ve noticed that if I have the cooling seats on the auto stop will not activate.

Are these seats actually cooled or are they strictly ventilated?

500 Km on my new Passport and the stop start feature has stopped working. I disliked this feature intensely on the 2016 Pilot that I traded in, but on the Passport is was a lot smoother and less intrusive when it started the engine again. Tempted to let it go but I am concerned that it may be indicative of other problems. Any insights?

Learn what conditions will not allow it to work, well documented everywhere, then learn how to drive with it, some are not coordinated enough
