So I just refueled for the first time and was surprised to see that we don't have a fuel cap. Now I know what the little white funnel next to the spare is for.

Wow I’m surprised when looking at the vehicle your Sales Repersentive didn’t talk about this. When we test drove they went over everything almost a little to much I guess.

Yup you would think they invented the funnel.

I think the last time I had to pour gas from a can into my car was 1982...

Lol, it was 1978 Accord and running out of gas, sucked a bunch of contaminants into the carb and had to have it rebuilt...

I was thinking the same thing. Still, it's a very nice funnel.

Most other manufacturers wouldn't provide any funnel. At least Honda did. I think the cap-less fuel has 2 little spring loaded doors... the first one you see and the other behind that one an inch or so more in.

Staying on the subject have you guys noticed the emergency release for the fuel fill door incase the button on your door doesn't work in the rear driver side cubby.My Ridgeline had one behind the rear driver side seat.

Remember: The funnel can also be used for siphoning fuel out of the fuel tank - for when the lawn mower fuel is at empty, of course, and one doesn't want to make a special trip to t he local fuel station. At least I surmise that can be done.
