I contacted Homelink and one thing they strongly recommended was no LED between you and your garage door opener. Apparently, the LED interfere with the signal. I am still struggling to get mine working correctly... but it's the same for my other 2 cars also...BMW and a Porsche so....

Argh, LED's all over the garage... is this an issue with older garage door openers (circa 2007?) or is a problem with all or certain brands...?

I don't doubt it and will follow up. I know when I took LED's out of the garage door opener it started working better.... Thanks for the information
