I think the heater is warmer than my old '16 Pilot. I never thought that one ever got very warm. I do live where we get -20 to -30 below so that's a pretty good test! 
Like others said the heated seats definitely help the heat department even if the vents weren't putting out good heat! I miss the heated steering wheel I had on the Pilot; I added it as an accessory. Maybe some day I will add that to the Touring! It hasn't been warm enough to try AC so can't comment on that. Hope that helps!
