I had a very good low key, no pressure, straight forward experience buying my new Passport recently. The finance guy showed me all the figures on the computer screen about my vehicle and pointed out since we bought it slightly over invoice that they (the dealer) would get $823 holdback and the end of the year. The box on the computer screen actually showed "Hold back: $823". I call that being very up-front about things.

When I bought my Passport the car wash at the dealership had a line of about 20 vehicles so the sales guy said if I took it and washed it myself he'd give me another tank of gas for free. Today, (two weeks later) I stopped by. He was in the process of detailing a car for a new customer delivery, but he immediately stopped what he was doing and got the tank filled up for us. Never have had such a great experience from any car sales person. Through the entire process he's been the kind of sales person we all hope to deal with.
