I just finished installing the OEM footwell ambient lighting to my EX-L.
All I can say is that it is not worth it. Don't do it!
#1 It is ambient lighting only, so it will not light up with the rest of the interior lights when you open the door. It only works when you turn on the lights.
#2 you can barely see it. It has a platic cover to reduce the brightness, but it hides the light so much that on the driver's side I could not capture it on camera. (Invisible)
#3 the color is white, unlike the Pilot and the Oddisey that have it in blue.
The install was moderate in difficulty and the instructions were terrible. The hardest step was to release the cable on the driver side, which was hard to reach (to cut tape to release it).
Here are some pictures, I just wasted $80.
