Having the whole front , an partial hood , under door handles, an mirrors done on the Black Touring beast . This Expel is suppose to be the stuff . 1000 $$. I looked at some of his cars that he had in the shop , an they looked awesome .?.

That's a great Marv, Prodgirl and I both paid more than that, but the XPL Clear material is awesome - I really wish I could do my entire Passport with it or at least the Roof (where bird droppings and sap could go un-noticed due to the roof height)...!

This shop came highly recommended . Will see I pick it up at 4 pm today . I’m excited about it .

Ex

Expel has a 10 year for all that , an the owner of the shop Romel said it’s better . I just went with what the pros say about this Expel. Hope on not wrong .
Oh didn't know that. I found a detailer in my area with good reviews who does Expel. Thinking of doing this when I get my Passport. Fed up with droppings. And scratches near door handles.

@Marv how long did your car have to be in the shop to get the PPF on? I got quotes from a couple of installers and have vastly different time estimates. One says they can do PPF in a day and if I want tint too then a day and a half. The other said he needs the car in the shop for around 2 weeks. I've never had PPF installed before so I'm confused at that variation in the time estimates.

Hi nikhilxp64, they had me bring it in at 8 am then pick it up the next day at 4 pm . couldn’t wash it for a couple of days . It’s takes a while for the chemical in it too works it’s way out of some bubbles , or whatever you call it . It’s been a week now . It’s looks sharp . ??

Thanks for the reply @Marv. From what I can make out I think the 2 weeks was for a full wrap. I can't think why only fenders and hood would take that long. Can you share a close up of what it looks like under the handles and on the mirrors? I want a clean install with no glaringly visible edges.
