While Passport online shopping a few weeks ago. I saw very good prices on Sport and EX-L models. Just the last 2-3 weeks the Touring prices started getting lower. To the point where I went and got my Touring about 2 weeks ago at what I felt was a very good price. That compared to price offers I was first getting back online from 4 dealerships. I imagine all the Passport prices will get even better as the year goes on. I

still feel I could have lived happily with a EX-L Passport with all the features it comes with and at the very good prices I was seeing. I just came across a very nice deal on a Touring about 28 miles from me. And I really like the wheels on the Touring over the EX-L, so happy camper here. Good luck.

Good luck Matt34. Just for reference, here in S.E. Texas, I reached out to 4 Houston area Honda dealerships via email. I told them I had my a CU financing pre-approved and just wanted a total drive out price, as best as they could, including any dealer add ons, etc. I found, most dealers were doing the Pro-Tect pkg add on, cargo mat, mud flaps, basic carpet mats and a few minor things, plus or minus.

I was getting constant email offers of $42-43K for a Touring Passport, in various colors. They would say come in and maybe we can do better with our financing. That's fine, I've done that before. But they would not give me a "total drive out price" as I asked to show my CU what amount to approve me at.

Bottom line, I got a offer from one dealership stating, here is our total, cash drive out price using your financing, if you choose to.. Anyway, I drove off that day with my Obs Blue, 2WD Passport for $38,351.00 total. This price after I haggled down the silly, window tint and Nitrogen prices some. They offered me a very good price for my '15 Toy Highlander- LE.

I am sure I could prolly get a Elite model in that same price range today. But I'm very happy with my Touring, didn't really want AWD. And I know I could've been happy with a EX-L model for even less $$. But this Touring stayed in my budget zone and that's how i went. Again, good luck shopping, take your time, it will happen for you. peace, .e
