I find that many (not all) people are a creatures-of-habit.
My next door current has three vehicles and they are all White and every vehicle they have owned in the 22 years I have lived here have been White.
I have a neighbor across the street (& to the right) and both of their cars are Black.
Another neighbor across the street (& to the left) and both of their cars are Copper/Bronze.
A few years back, our two cars were both Dark Gray, however now both of our cars are White.
I think the Passport in the Steal Gray Metallic looks great, I love the no-chrome look and am 99% sure that is the color I will be getting, I thought about the White, (and the White front-end does not look bad in person - saw it yesterday, at the dealer) but I don't want three White cars in the family and as my Passport will be outside, were White gets dirty too fast.
Bottom line is, there are several ways to go: (1) You can get the color you always get, (2) You can get the color you think looks best, or (3) You can think outside-the-box and get a color you have never had before and hope it grows on you (and what if it doesn't?).
* Lastly: Prior to learning about the Passport, I was considering the 2019 RAV4 Adventure Model - which only came in three colors, one of which I would never get (Black), one I was not keen on (Blue) and one I thought I might learn to like but didn't really care for (Lunar Green).
