I've been documenting some of the individual components of my "build" in separate threads*, but this seems like a good place to pull it all together in one place. I'll add updates as we make changes.

The ADVPASS BUILD

Here it is as it arrived to the dealership:

And the way it looked when we picked it up 2 days later:

We had the dealer install the following:

• Adventure B Package (Touring):
  • Black Wheel Nuts
  • Black Wheel Locks
  • Trailer Hitch (Sport)
  • Running Board (Die Cast)
  • Trailer Hitch Harness
  • Power Tailgate Sensor Adapter
  • Roof Rack Cross Bars
• All Season Floor Mats, High Wall
• Cargo Tray
• Black Rhino York 18" Wheels
• Nitto Ridge Grappler 265/60 R19 Tires

And I've since added:

• JSport Skid Plate
• Swagman Trailhead 4 Bicycle Carrier
• Roav Viva Pro - Amazon Alexa Device
• Flashlight charging cradle in the center console
• Window mesh screens for in car camping
• and the occasional rental trailer for camping adventures...

Future Plans:

• Two way radio charging cradles in the center console
• IPad mount for Gaia GPS Nav
• 30" Behind the Grill LED Light Bar

Distant Future Plans:

• Hiker Trailer Extreme 5x8 with matching wheels
• Transmission cooler
• Full size spare

Hey David could you do me a favor when you get a few free minutes? I would like some more detailed pictures of the side of your Passport and some closer up pics of the wheels/tires. I'm a Tacoma guy right now and looking to move back to a Honda (for a number of reasons) now that the Passport is available - No manufacturer ever made an SUV that had the right balance of on/light off road with the look that I wanted until Honda re-introduced the Passport. Yours is the only build I've seen with more aggressive tires and I'm a bit obsessed with it as I ultimately want something that looks more like what you have than the stock ride. Anyway I love what you built but am looking for more pics

It's definitely a trick of the photo. The trailer was about 750 dry, probably right around 1000 lbs as loaded. The Passport barely knew it was there.

I've been away on vacation and I'll try to catch up with the new additions to the AdvPass.

I did manage to get the rechargeable flashlight installed in my center console, this is the MagLight ML150LR. It's a tight fit that requires mounting the light mid way up the side wall of the console where there is some extra room above the power ports.

It's nice and secure when attached to the charging cradle. The release button is easily accessible and the light is quick and easy to remove once you slide the change tray out of the way to the rear.

The light is bright and has a nice spot/flood range and it's classic Maglight in build quality.

For in car camping, I've added a couple of mesh tent window screens for the back doors.

These allow for airflow overnight while keeping the creepy crawlies out in nature where they belong!

At first I thought these were a little goofy, but after mounting them, I think they'll be a worthy addition to the setup. We have another weekend trip planned where these will get a real world test. I'll report back how they did.

I like the overnighters as I have a tent for the PP tailgate (a Napier) but I have had a few spiders over the years (previous cars, someday I will get to camp in the PP ? as it’s warming up slowly but surely ?) so like the idea of no bugs and I need the airflow as I run hot and my window screen is much to large as I went cheap so it’s days are numbered / hmm ?

What bolt pattern or spacers if any did u need for the wheels. That’s the same setup my wife wants for her touring AWD.

No way am I tired of your mods, David, keep them coming (please)...

Here's one for your list (lol): a 1" Lift Kit (the title is 2" list, but 1 of those inches is 1" taller tires) the lift is only 1" as you can see the spacer later in the video...

David, I like your mods. Did you consider a lift? I'm a new owner and considering the jsport prerun package. I'm also looking at trailers (and roof top tents) and the hiker is on the list.
