Passport Touring-I can't get the "Compass" to be a default setting. Have to set each time I start car. I am pretty good with tech and just can't figure out why it has to be set every time as opposed to defaulting to the last time I set.

It's not you. It's a very frustrating (non)feature.
Feel like I am going crazy, as all other options on the DII set to default

Check out page 117 of the owners manual 'Arrange Apps' to change the order of apps on the home screen.
