In this thread, please post the accessories you use to mount your phone to the dash, with a link and pictures showing the placement and your experience.

Scosche power magnetic mount
I like the blue light and the position of the phone, but it does slide off on rough bumps. The plate on the phone was placed on the bottom, not to interfere with the wireless charging. If the plate was on the center it would stay in place. I give it a 4 it of 5. I bought the dash mount, but with this one, I don’t have to worry about the adhesive residue and it has a lot of range.

I just lay my iPhone in the little flat area under the dash, when I plug in the USB, I use Apple Play and have no need to see my phone, is there a reason why you need to be able to access it?
cheers

Here is another flaw on the passport. To play music from a USB drive you have to disconnect the phone to use the USB port on the dash. My 17 accord could do both, by having the flash drive on the center console enabled for the usb drive, but not on the Passport, So it is either one or the other. One work around is to upload the usb drive to my Honda Music and you could play the stored music, while using nav on Android Auto. That day I left the USB drive on the port and used Android Auto from the phone (sorry apple users, carplay won’t work from phone only), youtube can also work (while parked ? or for passengers).

This is what I do. I dumped a ton of music on my Honda music and don’t need to worry about my iPod or USB with music on interfering with needing to even touch my phone.
