After I purchased our passport, I wanted to maintain the paint well from day one. I got with a buddy who has decades of car showing experience to seek his advice on products that really work. I can pass along my experience with several of these products that have given incredible results. All are from Griot's Garage. The best of show spray wax is superb and very easy to use and remove. Best of show detailer also very good and easy to use. After washing either of these can be done to the entire car in 15 minutes. The interior detailer is wonderful and really helps with the piano black fingerprint issue. These are in my opinion far superior to competing products. I don't work for them or anyone. Just passing on information and direct experience. Pricing is very fair and can be easily found from various sources on the net. I also recommend a grit guard for the bottom of your wash bucket or two if you use the two bucket system. These work great to keep grit away from the mitt.

That is one of the great things about the spray wax or detailer. It does not leave any white film on the black plastic areas and it does not attrac dust. Can us it on all exterior surfaces, glass, rubber seals, plastic, door posts, and it improves them all. Just a light mist and wipe off with microfiber towel. Just work a small area at a time like one half of the hood.

Look up black fire on auto geek and sold on Amazon. It will take any black back to brand new, then I coat with 303 aerospace, leaves a smooth flat black finish that does not brown up on tires or fade in the sun.
I had a Jeep with dried wax on the black fender. Internet said everything from peanut butter to paint thinner etc. nothing worked. Found black fire & took it off in one swipe

A detailer spray, but it will extend the life pf you wax/sealant, speaking of which, this appears to be the best stuff on the market: Wolfgang Concours Series WG-5500 Deep Gloss Paint Sealant ($40 on Amazon).

klasse products all good. i only have one garage and the passport and other suvs i have owed i use a syntheitic because it lasts longer. i even do the wheels . wax and seal 2x year
