I had the same issue with my 2012 Pilot EXL. Just traded for new Passport Touring. Pilot had 65500 miles with original brakes (guess the double pump helped )My biggest complaint of an otherwise perfect SUV was the brakes on my 2012 Touring Pilot. The mushy pedal response was very annoying and it taught me the necessity of double-pumping the brake pedal to get a firm pedal response. I'm delighted that my Elite PP has a nice firm pedal response from the first push.
