Hello fellow Passport owners!

It seems like every time I start up the Passport I have to re-select what I see in the dash view (Trip, Nav, etc). Anyone know how to make one selected item the "default" so we see that item every time we start the car? I'm gonna get tired of always having to select what I want to see each time.

Also, did I miss the setting for how long to keep the headlights on when in Auto-headlights mode? They seem to stay on a tad too long for my taste.

I was wondering the same thing. Would love to be able to set a default. There must be a way. I just haven’t found it.

Same questions I have. At first I thought maybe I hit a button on the steering wheel which changed the display, but after paying attention to it I saw that I changed after restarting.

I also took my lights off auto because they seemed to stay on too long. I vaguely remember seeing a setting for length of time they stay on. I'll look for it.

I've noticed the same thing. I listed that on the thread about what to Love & Hate about the Passport. I know you can remove some of the apps so they don't show in the list on that screen. But I haven't looked that hard to see if you can make one of those the default dash screen, but just going through settings, etc I didn't notice anything. It seems to stay on music "Now playing" screen if previously used but if I had navigation set on that screen on the previous drive it doesn't stay on that. Kind of weird

This is making me crazy. I can't find it anywhere in the manual.

This is a guess because what I would want to be “default” just happens to be first in the list, but you can reorder that list of things on the dash. I’m guessing if you put whatever you want to be “default” at the top of the list, then that is what would show every time you start up.

I tried that. Didn't work (at least not for me). It's makin' me crazy!

Edit - I'll try playing around with the order again, maybe there's an extra step or something?
