Have you see the Kelly Blue Book list of the Best-buy 2019 vehicles in 14 different categories?
https://www.kbb.com/car-news/best-buy-awards/2100000577/

Strange how Honda won in 6 different categories (2 in SUV)! While Ford and Hyundai won in 2 each and there was not a Nissan, Toyota, Mazda or Subaru on their list..

I'll bet they (Nissan, Toyota, Mazda or Subaru) are all pissed...
stevenD I was also pleased to see so many Honda's represented in the 2019 KBB Best Buy categories. However, in their lineup of, subcompact SUV, compact SUV, midsize SUV, and full-size SUV where would the PP fit in?

Supposedly the PP is a Mid-Size 1-Row SUV, which is sort of a tweener stuck between Compact SUVs and Mid-Size 2-Row SUVs. There are other 1-Row Mid-Size SUVs, like 4Runner, Cherokee, Edge, Blazer, Outback, and Murano, but they all have different features and strengths so it mucks up any chance of 1-on-1 comparisons...

It's easy to compare 2-row Mid-Size SUVs like the Pilot, Highlander and a Ascent.

If KBB had compared those 5 Mid-Size 1-Row SUV's, I'm reasonably sure the PP would have also been #1...

Also: it's kind like the comparisons of the Ridgeline to other Mid-Size Trucks (Tacoma, Ranger, Gladiator, Frontier, Colorado), in the Street-only comparisons, the Ridgeline kills it, they love the features, and the super smooth ride, but the more "off-road" the comparisons go, the farther back the Ridgeline falls...

cheers...
stevenD, your analysis is spot on, thanks.
