Since the Passport will be aimed at those who love the outdoors, Honda has announced that the new Passport will be getting a host of specific accessories including roof boxes, bike, kayak and ski racks and even weatherproof covers for different parts of the cabin.

I always liked what HFP did with Accords and other Honda products, they could do well with the new Passport but its unfortunate that there aren't enough outdoor adventure vehicles in their lineup to consider a specific line for such products.

I like the roof rack they are showing, but am concerned at the height of this vehicle will make your gear 7 feet up...

Side steps might be worthwhile depending on what sort of things you plan on hauling. Would make unloading roof mounted equipment that much easier.

If you live in more rural areas then that won't be an issue, for everyone else a hitch mounted system will be the solution.

Right. Whether I get a Passport or Pilot. The trailer hitch with the rear camera is the way to go.

I managed to grab a quick photo of the full accessory list while negotiating the price of my Passport. I couldn't find this information anywhere else and hope it is helpful to prospective buyers to see what the dealer has access to. This is from a Southern California dealer, so take the pricing with a grain of salt.
