1) The redesigned 2020 Subaru Outback: has a turbo 4cyl w/260hp and a very cool 11.6" Infotainment display, and probably more ground clearance than the Passport, and just a few feet less overall storage room, but still has the CVT:

Might end of being the closest to a Passport as far as off-road capabilities, since the Mazda CX5, Nissan Murano, Ford, Escape and Chevy Blazer offer practically zero off-road action...
