picked up a 2019 Passport Touring AWD / Modern Steel Gray for $37,400 yesterday.( before Tax & Doc fee)
Dealer has lifetime powertrain warranty included
thought it was a pretty good deal. I had contemplated an EXL AWD for $35,100 but went with the touring.

Indianapolis I didn't have any add ons. Very competitive market. 4 dealers matched the price on the EXL and 2 @ the $37,400 price for the touring. 2 others were within 100 and 200 respectively. I am guessing that they would have matched, but the lifetime drivetrain warranty was too good to not go with them. I had 4 dealers in the area and I asked each to get as close to $37,000 and I am a buyer. they essentially said that they doubted that anyone would go below $37,400 ( and they were right) so I shook the salesman's hand and drove away with it 2 hours later. one dealer wouldn't get within $1200 and told me to take that deal ( she didn't know I had multiple offers at that price) I was happy with it

it was on the lot, but they ( all dealers) did offer to go get the color combination through dealer trade. We were between light Gray interior vs. Black -- ultimately went with black and that was in stock on the lot where we ultimately bought. it does make a difference when there are multiple dealers in a relatively small ( Indy) market. my "home" dealer qualified his EXL offer to stock on hand but only had blue. we told him that blue was our least likely option so he immediately said that the sales manager said he could make the trade with a dealer if we didn't want blue... and we didn't. they had the same color touring on the lot that we ultimately bought but they were $100 over my best price ( plus no lifetime drivetrain warranty )

I walked in yesterday and said similar what you said, I said I want to get the same deal this guy got and showed your comment from this page. Then after back and forth and even giving me the BS that "well, I'm not making any money here, what you want is way below invoice, blah, blah,blah"... so I showed them from this site all the invoice prices for all models of passport. He saw I called his bluff. Then no deal yesterday. I went home without a car. This morning they called me and said the manager talked to the GM and said that I could have the car for $37,400 +TTF. SO, I got the car tonight. Key was being one day before end of month. They get incentives for selling before month end.
Bottom line is...
THANK YOU DON!!!!!
Excellent. That's what this forum is for... helping each other out. Great deal by the way :)
