Yup, finally got a couple dealers to email me a true(?) Drive Out Total Price, as I've asked a few times, so I can show my CU the numbers for what they will pre-approve me.

Seems all are at $42xxx.oo-ish. This seems to be what some here have paid for a Elite w/AWD prices??This is for a Touring, 2WD, with the running boards I requested they add. I've found only 2 of the dark green Passports' near me so far. And of course plus all their stupid dealer add ons that are on the car already; $100 for nitrogen, $399 for front windows tint, etc. REALLY??

Dealers never used to tint the front windows. Guess they found another area they can try to screw the buyer. I've always taken my new autos to the same place for those front window tints @ $75-$80 or so. Of course I will go in person and start haggling at some of these add on prices. I've done all this so far just via emails back n forth with a few dealers. They know I have outside financing in place so maybe that's why the higher totals I'm seeing. Maybe they can offer better; though I doubt it. I've financed 3 new Hondas' in last few years. But may not come into play for this Passport. I've been told NO incentives; No special finance offers by all dealers. Yeah, I get it.

Now, I may go in soon and see what they will offer for my trade. It's in very good shape but I expect to do battle to get what I've seen it's worth online. All the research I've done online previous to shopping a new auto does not seem as useful once you start talking to the dealers. But I know more now and more of what to expect, so no loss there. But I feel better prepared going to see what the best deal they will offer. If not, I'll bring my '15 Highlander back home to fight another day. Still kinda remembering my Outback test drive and so many features; for less $$. :sneaky: peace y'all ,e.

Yes, very dark green. There are about 3-4 of them within 50 miles of me in Houston area. Even when I searched online auto pricing sites, they don't show a green as a color option.
When I test drove it last week, it was so dirty from dealers new building construction, sales guy called it black. After I parked in the sun, we saw the dark metallic green color come thru.
Are they that rare? It's not as nice as the Outbacks Touring green. But it's different than all the light/dark grey autos I own/owned.

Dealer washed it few days later n sent me pics of it. It's a very dark green, metal flake was vool. But it looked black as it was very dusty and parked in the shade.

It really looked black before washed...."There's none blacker". Nigel Tuffnell

Seems all the dealers in my area have the "Pro Pack" add on pkg on every Passport. I mean, it's accessories I usually get aftermarket on my last few SUV's but its so very over priced on that front windshield sticker I'm seeing. Don't see them taking that gear off any PPorts at any point.

Short of ordering one, I guess best move is to haggle the price down some on this Pro Pack. But it seems so over priced, one might still pay too much for such adds on at those prices.

Ah well, at least I'm getting a couple more full, OTD prices now and not just sketchy numbers as before. The haggle-dance continues; y'all.

OH AND, not the best pics sales-slug sent me but here is the green colored Passports' I'm seeing in my area.

Yes it is a very deep, dark green. Sslesguy came out saying, O have r keys to this black one. And he sells the damn things, lol.
More I look at it, kinds getting past this green color. But I do prefer the grey colored rims over black. Even the blue passport not great w grey wheels, imo.
The metallic grey w grey rims, just the best match, again, imho.

Ended up getting the Obscenely Blue Touring, 2WD today. OTD. @ $38,351. They did very well on my '15 HL trade, I ended up financing an even $27,000.00 with C.U.

Same accessories Pro Pack as most, wheel locks, cargo tray, mud flaps. I haggled down those silly window tint, nitrogen prices so I could add Outdoor Side Lighting just off their price sheet. I may add aftermarket nerf bars or running bars later. Very happy with my deal today. peace, e

I may have posted this elsewhere. After emailing 4 Houston area dealers asking for a total drive out price, with only one actual visit test drive, 3 came back at $42k. But still minus Tax, doc fees, add ons, etc for a 2wd, Touring.
Then one, unprompted besides my first email, came back with $38,351.00 total cash price. At that price, I had to drive the 25 miles to see it. They had 4 passports. I test a grey n blue one.
Asked them to knock off few hundred from the silly window tint, nitrogen prices and they did.
They had mudflaps, cargo tray, rust proofing. No upgrade mats. But my upgraded aftermarket mats from my HL fit almost perfect in my PP
They did way better than I expected on my '15 HL-LE trade. F&I lady was quick to take my NO replies to her add ons. Signed papers, drove off about 2.5 hours total

2Eklab, Congrats on a good deal. I had body side molding thrown in on my '15 HL as part of that deal. I felt it made my HL stand out. Some thought it detracted from the smooth lines look.

I almost got the BS molding with this new blue, Passport but passed. If you get a chance, pls post a pic of your new ride showing it with the body side molding. I'm curious to see how it might look with that add on.

On my HL it sat in the middle of the door area. Not sure if it worked but I never had a ding. From some pics, it seems they place it kinda low on the Passport. Not sure one could have them raise it higher, if they chose to? Thanks and peace, e.
