Yep. Not a big fan of that either. And it's not like they saved a lot of space. They could've installed an actual shifter/knob and would have been fine. I just like physical action of moving a lever vs pushing a button for the transmission.Am I seeing a push button shifter? I know this cleans up the look of the center console, but I haven't been a big fan of them in the past.
Do we know for sure that it doesn't have this? I wouldn't mind having one.And where is the 360 degree camera system?
I have been told by Honda that this feature is NOT AVAILABLE. I don't know if an aftermarket system is available. Too bad, seems like an easy add on for Honda.Do we know for sure that it doesn't have this? I wouldn't mind having one.
I believe that's just part of the multi-angle rear view camera. They have a mode that looks straight down towards the bumper / trailer hitch but it's still only showing the rear of the vehicle, not 360.Couldn't find the video, but Bird's Eye View is listed on the Official Honda Announcement (Press Release) made on Nov 27th, it's down towards the bottom and it says it is standard on ALL models...!
You are right. The Birdseye view pertains only to the multi view rear camera only. Honda chose not to include this important feature for their new model. A deal breaker for those of us who already use this system everyday. That’s too bad. I really wanted that blue Elite model.I believe that's just part of the multi-angle rear view camera. Not really sure why Honda does this to other features (and sometimes just to their US versions of vehicles). You are right. The Birdseye view pertains only to the multi view rear camera only. Probably so but Honda has the parts and software now. Geez just make it available now.I wouldn't give up hope just yet. It might be another good reason to sit out on the initial model year. So far the Honda Sensing suite of features suggest they're up to other safety/practical related features.
Yeah....not sure why they do (or don't do it) this way.I'm done trying to figure our Honda's logic but I do know that they just want to sell as many models as they can and do it quickly. The 360 camera doesn't seem like a difficult thing to do from the factory, 2 mirror cameras, 1 grill camera, tie it all in with existing camera in the rear, then connect them to the entertainment screen via a processor.
