I also agree, the Passport Infotainment is better than both of my last 2 BMW's (Albeit they were older) and better than my wife's 2014 RX350!I don't understand the negative reviews and owner comments about the Infotainment system. I find it totally adequate in it's operation and for a factory system the sound in the 10 speaker audio system in my Passport is excellent.
The guy in this review drove the Passport for an extended period of time, but in many/most reviews, the reviewer has it for a couple of days and thus a very steep learning curve is required. Many of us have drove our vehicles for months and have settled in on how to use it.
The other thing you have to remember about these serial review sites, is that they are seeing multiple brands of cars, so their fame of reference is different than most of us. Also they drive their own cars, which may give them a bias as well.
So whenever I read a negative review, I typically ask myself is this negativity something that could effect me and my expectations and use of my vehicle. For example: when ready about the new RAV4 and all the complaints about excessive engine noise, chances are - that would bother me too!
But I have not had ANY of the transmission issues that this reviewer mentions, so he might be driving it harder and pushing it to the limits MORE than any of us, because he has the car on loan and did not pay $30/40 grand of his own money for it!
